Refund Policy

The Playbook ($39)
30 days, no questions asked. Reply to your receipt email or write to emily@cancelcosts.com within 30 days of purchase. We refund within 2 business days. You keep the PDF; we trust you.
Done-for-you batch ($99)
- If we have not yet started your job: full refund within 4 hours of request.
- If we have started but not delivered: 50% refund.
- If you are unhappy with the delivered output: we will rerun the job once at no charge, or offer a 50% credit toward a future purchase. Full refund only if more than 20% of results are factually wrong (e.g., misidentified company names, hallucinated facts about the target).
Sheets Pro ($19/month)
- Cancel any time via your Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not pro-rate the current month unless...
- ...you cancel within 14 days of first subscription, in which case we pro-rate based on usage.
- If the Sheets add-on stops working due to a bug we cannot fix within 7 days, you get a full refund for the affected month.
How to request a refund
- Email emily@cancelcosts.com with the order ID or the email used at checkout.
- We respond within 1 business day.
- Refunds appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us, we will respond to Stripe with the order details, delivery confirmation, and these terms. Please email us first; we usually resolve issues faster than your bank can.
