What we collect
- Free DIY tier: Nothing. Your Anthropic key and inputs stay in your browser, never reach our servers. Anonymous Vercel access logs (IP, user agent, path) are retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
- Paid purchases: Your email address (for receipt and product delivery), the contents of any URLs and prompts you submit, and standard Stripe billing data (name, address, last four digits of card). Card numbers and full payment data are handled directly by Stripe, never by us.
- Email signups: Email address only, for product update emails. Unsubscribe link in every email.
How we use it
- To deliver the products you paid for.
- To send infrequent product update emails (max 2 per month). You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve the service via aggregated, anonymous usage stats (no individual identification).
- For abuse prevention and legal compliance.
Who we share with
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not share it with any other party.
Retention
- Access logs: 30 days, then deleted.
- Purchase records: 7 years (Australian tax law).
- Email list entries: until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, GDPR, and CCPA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email emily@cancelcosts.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Cookies
We use only one piece of browser storage: your Anthropic API key (free DIY tier), saved to localStorage on your device for convenience. No tracking cookies, no third-party tags, no analytics scripts.
